Excuses never come out until after the fighter loses. These types of excuses are made by people who are haters, not boxing fans. Online e-thugs can tear apart any record with excuses like that.
That was in response to a guy claiming it was impossible that weight draining could be an issue. I mentioned in an earlier post in this thread that Corrales was a slight favorite in that fight. And Corrales and Castillo are Floyd's two (three) biggest wins.

But that's what happens when you jump into the middle of a conversation, huh bud?

And BTW pound for pound doesn't mean a damn thing when you're getting hit in the ring. Who would you rather get hit by? Pac or Wlad?

not p4p, but overall probably yes. Although DLH at 154 might have packed a bit more. p4p it was Corrales.

So I guess Margarito's chin was as well, right?

Is this the part where you run down Floyd's opponent till the day of the fight? Then after Floyd wins, you hype them to no end?

Mosley was knocking fools out at 154 and has no problem making 147, I'd say dude has power.

Mosley is the biggest puncher he's faced easily, De La Hoya is next. Mosley may not have a KO record of someone like N'dou who had something like 30 kos in 31 wins but he's fought at a much higher standard and has knocked out far better fighters like Margarito, Mayorga, Vargas x2 and dropped guys like Collazo.

At LW his KO record is 32 wins and 30 KOs.

Which is why people knew Shane was way past his best over 2 years ago.

DLH is a better puncher, Shane still has a good combination of strength, speed, and power. He won't fade down the stretch either.

Yes, Shane Mosley is the biggest puncher. Hatton is a big puncher but Mosley is naturally bigger.

Sounds like trouble making weight to me, son. Not to mention having to go to prison the next week.
Did you know Corrales won a title at 130 in the rematch with Casamayor three years after the fight with Mayweather "son"? So making weight excuses when he loses because it's convenient for your argument doesn't cut it. And 3 and a half years is a long time to fight ina division that is supposedly weight draining.
