Is this the first fight to be "reviewed" by a sanctioning body?

If Corrales does not comply, he will be stripped of his belt.
That would be bull**** but he doesn't really need it for credibility or making big fights in the future. If they do that, I hope he tells em to **** themselves.

Hey shaolin, in all seriousness, the way this fight ended, there should be a rematch!Plain and simple but Corrales doesnt want one cause he doesnt want to get pounded some more.Last i heard this is boxing.

the first corrales mouthpiece drop was from a punch.
the second corrales mouthpiece drop was intentional and corrales was penalized an extra point by the ref.
even when corrales was on his butt he didnt look hurt.
castillo benefitted by the extra seconds too. but didnt jump on chico when the fight resumed. why didn't he? was he hurt? . a mistake on his part.
corrales with his heart and power bashed castillo into the ropes. when the ref saw castillos head snapped back and his eyes roll up looking to see if his brain was still intact, then his arms stayed rested by his side the ref stepped in and stopped the fight. remember castillo got rocked good in previous rounds.one more punch to a defensless castillo could of pemanently changed his life. before the fight ended corrales was a head on judges scorecards
i must say that in retrospect i wish the ref would of given castillo a standing eight count to see if he did the zab chicken walk and if he didnt then let the fight resume. but castillo looked really f...ked up. he could of spit out his mouthpiece or taken a knee. but he was out of it.
the ref didnt break any rules the way he called it but had options that castillo fans would of liked to see.
you know guys its possible both fighters may have left part of themselves in the ring. will have to see when they fight again.
when they fight again after corrales gets done going on to bigger and better things, corrales will win in an easier fashion because he's more intelligent, has more boxing skills and is more powerfull. castillo likes fighting one way and corrales beat him while fighting castillos way.

Bull****. The man was out on his feet. Corrales was on his feet and lucid at the count of 9 both times. He has shown enough in the past that he has no problems recovering from KDs.

I never thought Castillo would take the ***** route in trying to get his former belt back.

this is unnecessary. corrales' win is convincing and what will a rematch proves?

I really don't think a rematch is a good idea. These two guys brutalized each other, and one fight like that during a career is plenty. The win was convincing, and any time spent getting the mouthpiece back in made little or no difference. Castillo had been hurt badly several times before during the fight, even once in early rounds....I feel like the outcome was inevitable, with Castillo being as aggressive as he was and leaving himself open for bombs while throwing his own.
