Why does he need 24 days to heal from a blood test?

    • Simple answer to simple questions.
because most Floyd Fans are just as if not more ignorant than Floyd himself.

      • Mayweather is right all the way ! The bottom line is...why refuse a 25 millions $ blood test. The answer is in the question.

        • Pretty much I guess. I think Floyd was just wasn't sure if he'll win against Pac. A loss would definitely lower his value especially that his not a brawler or aggressive type of a fighter that most people would want to watch. Now I think he want to test the water with Shane before the P4P best.

why risk $25 million dollars with pushing drug test your way that will get rejected by a man that don't need it as much as you do?

The point is that he'd have been willing to compromise and to agree to the 14 days if the negotiations hadn't been held in the context that Floyd was accusing him of being a cheat without any evidence, and saying that he was guilty until proved innocent.

Pac pulled out of the De La Hoya fight when the purse was on De La Hoya's terms. He pulled out of the Hatton fight when that purse was on Hatton's terms. It's all about self-respect with him. If Mayweather had seriously wanted the fight to happen, he should not have started by claiming Pac is a cheat. And most of all, he should not have claimed that Filipinos in general are cheats (which he did). All that was simply bound to kill the fight, given Pac's personality, his background, and his patriotism.

              • No one would duck Pac to fight Shane Mosley. It's perhaps the single ******est argument on planet earth right now.

Oh yeah!!! Like Floyd saw that comming. hahahahaha!!! Before there was shane there was Nate, Alvarez, and Paulie. He musta known their woulda been a earthquake in Haiti, Berto would back out and he would get Shane. Yeah it was planed according to ***** logic. He ducked Pac to fight Nate campbell or Paulie but reluctantly and unexpectedly got stuck with Shane. I bet he don't feel to good about that. Not fighting Mosely is like adding insult to injury, he needed to say yes even though it took him awhile to actually sign the dotted line.

                  • i dont chime in these convo's too often ... but plain and simple the only people in the world afraid of drug tests are drug users. by pac refusing in my mind and in the mind of many he is now guilty until proven innocent, cause there is just no other logical/acceptable reason i can see for why he refused ...

i've read all the reasons why him and his camp have stated and they just plain old dont make any sense

I don't believe either fighter was ducking; but I do think that Floyd tried to gain a psychological advantage in the negotiations, and that he should have known, based on Pac's track record in previous negotiations, that the way he went about doing so (accusing Pac of being a cheat, accusing Filipinos in general of being cheats, and saying publicly that the fight should be held on his terms) was bound to kill the fight, and it did.
