What a bunch of bull****. What do they expect the ref to do when Corrales spits out his mouthpiece? Disqualify him? Toney Weeks took a point from him and if Castillo wouldn't have gotten carried away trying to knock him out he would have won the decision. It's not the ref's fault or Chico's fault. Castillo and his fans are turning this all-time classic into nothing but a crybaby war. If they enforce a rematch I think Chico should let them strip him of his title and move up in weight class to fight Morales. That way, Castillo can be a fake ass champion and everybody will remember he got KTFO. That would be worse for Castillo than any loss.

I think what peeps are fighting is all the chances chico got or made for himself.the fight was won by chico no doubt but they want a rematch cause a lot of things were left unclear.Who is the best lightweight?

Sure he won but it was because of all the **** he pulled, the guy wanted to quit since the 8th when he first spit his piece out. No one is gonna let him slide when the fight was in the bag for Castillo and Corrales wins cause he used the system.Imo the fight wouldnt been stopped on the second kd when corrales pulled his mouth piece out with his hand MEANING I quit, I cant take it anymore. Any other ref stops it then and there. We really need to see who the best lightweight is cause this didnt prove ****. Before Corrales was a 60% to 40% to win this fight.I think it will be the other way around in the rematch.If corrales has the balls to give Castillo a rematch.

Castillo was out on his feet his neck was a mess leaning on the ropes with his inside the back of his head.

No one is arguing that point, they are more arguing how the ref let Corrales get so much time to recuperrate after each fall. That was the unfairness of the fight. The WBC wont overturn the fight or result in anyway, but it is reviewing the fight to see if an immidiate rematch is needed and deserved by Castillo who wants one. And in my opinion it is.

I know it was a wbc fight, but here are the wba rules regarding mouthpieces...From watching the fight and reading this...I have to conclude that the referee handled the fight properly...rematch or not I will be watching them both fight next time they get in the ring...

Castillo defintely deserves a rematch! What I don't agree with is on how people focuses too much on the ref's stoppage and the ****in mouthpiece! Frietas did that mouthpiece ****, but Corrales beat him!

Castillo jest couldn't finish up Corrales PERIOD! He got a hurt man in front of him and he shoulda done what he shoulda!
