I watched a soccer game of my local high school when I was in 6th grade...It was exciting but I can only get into team sports if I am there live. As crazy as it is, my eyes cant follow the ball in most sports. Im a football fan but I always look at the wrong guy and never actually see the guy who has the ball...Im a Bengals fan go figure.

Brazil has some NICE ladies, to bad the STD level has sky rocketed level there...Guess you gotta go by the look at the menu but dont order.

            you're missing the point

It's the time given to corrales to recuperate that is in question....it is unfair to the other fighter to allow his opponent to recuperate after he spent the whole fight putting him in that position.....

I think at the most the fight warrants a mandatory rematch. Both fighters had a chance of winning the fight when it concluded.

The stoppage was fine but Corrales had to long to recover from his KD, if the ref of stepped in when Castillo got stunned and then give him a standing 40 count i'm sure the Corrales corner would have complained.

i think it's a combination of ignorance and false pride. castillo's head is already ****ing back and forth and what might have saved him from falling were the ropes, might even be unconscious for a couple of seconds before the referee stepped in. watched the fight over and over again and you will see how disoriented castillo was at that moment. another thing, his hands were already down, he could not even put up a decent defense.

The only thing that would've happened if Weeks had waited a few more seconds before stepping in is that Castillo would've been battered a few more times, and ended the fight unconcious on the canvas, rather than still on his feet being covered up by the ref. He was completely out of it, wholly defenseless, and a non-moving target for bombs thrown by Corrales.

As far as the extra time taken to put the mouthpiece back in, I counted around 20 seconds, give or take, over and above the count beginning when Corrales was knocked down, that it took to get Diego's mouthpiece back in and get the action started again. I've seen it take longer, and I've seen it take less time. Also keep in mind that taking the point away used up several seconds of that time. I doubt the fight would've turned out much differently, had Chico held onto his mouthpiece, though. Castillo was wide open coming in trying to finish off his opponent, and he was catching just as many bombs as he was throwing, maybe more. If he'd been a tad more patient and paid more attention to defense, he'd have probably won by KO later that round, maybe the next. It was his own aggressiveness that gave Chico the chance to end the fight the way he did.

The whole mess is a crock of **** that does nothing but belittle the performance given by these two fighters, and those behind it need their asses thoroughly kicked.

Just a thought, if the WBC ordered a rematch would Corrales accept? He might decide that he would be better off trashing the belt and going after other big but less dangerous fights. Especially if he's thinking about changing weight classes, he will lose all of the belts anyway. Just a thought.
