did the british follow lennox, bruno and benn to the US like they did for ricky?
do you think they will for amir as well?
Very good question. I don't see Hatton fans latching onto Khan. I don't know enough about Khan's niche fan base to judge but he does have some over the top fans on this website that makes me think he will have fans that will travel. I can see wealthy Asian businessmen paying for their daughters to have a trip to Vagas to have a long weekend and watch him fight. It will be a different to Hatton fan base that will travel.

of course he wont seem boring if he continues to fight salita caliber fighters, but i think once he steps up his competition he'll be even less willing to take risks in the ring.
I agree with the Kotelnik fight, but the MAB fight wasnt his fault. He let his hands go and MAB wanted no part of it. MAB was 100% defensive in that.

And you also need to realize hes still learning his style, it's not like hes been with Roach for very long and if you looked at his style pre-roach, he was out of control and really had no idea how to box.

Khan is far from boring, he throws plenty of punches and combos. I think he is exciting to watch if anything. However i dont think he will quite cut it in the US, i can only see him being knocked out sooner or later by a half descent puncher (maidana, valero, diaz?) I will judge Khan when he decides to fight a legit opponent not has beens or bums!

I don't know if he'll bring a good crowd over but he's a high profile celebrity in the UK, I believe, so it remains a possibility. His first fight in the US will decide it I guess. Khan is a different case to Lewis. I think Lewis was embraced by the UK a little later, he won the gold medal for Canada as an amateur, whereas Khan won the silver for the UK while becoming famous in the process of doing so.

******s ain't too popular in either country right now, but if khan keeps winning he'll be a star. The USA should definitely get behind Khan so that young ******s have someone to look up to though.
