There is no way in hell Floyd takes big punishment. If Shane stops him its going to be because he caught a rusty Floyd with one quick punch like that right hand JMM hit him with in round 2. Other then that he has no chance of stopping him. Now, could Shane bully him & win physically? Yes but it still will be different than pure punishment because I think Floyd will block pretty much every single thing. Shane could land alot on Floyd but it will be like all arms & stuff. If you want to call that punishment then fine but there is no way in hell that Shane will just be landing a bunch of clean brutal shots. Floyd's D is too good for that now. He could possibly punish him physically but it wouldnt be real damaging because they will be blocked/defended punches

i think floyd will be in the fight of his life but hel still win, ur dreamin if u think floyds corner throws in the towel cos floyds takin "punishment". youll all be waitin for mosley to knock him down but it just wont happen much as id like it to. to answer ur question i dont think floyd can win without gettin hurt some though, mosleys still very good.

Floyd never took punishment throughout his whole career and I don't see it being any different here.

He might get hit here and there, but overall his defense is great; and he'll either dodge the shots or roll with them to reduce the impact.

That's what intrigues me about this fight, the 3 guys who beat Mosley had to ship some leather and all where bigger guys than Floyd. Cotto hits like a beast so he had the power to earn Mosley's respect, Forrest (RIP) and Winky were so much bigger than Mosley he basically lost those fights from the get go. Can Floyd stop Mosley walking him down? Mosley was been telling everyone that Floyd can't pot shot against him, this will be a great fight imo.

Mosley is in for as big a surprise as many on this forum. Floyd is going to make this look easy and Mosley is going to help him by NOT using his head to fight. Mosley is going to try and impress by getting a KO or an impressive win. And when you go into a fight with one of the smartest boxer's on the planet, you have to use your head, not your power or speed.

Once Floyd neutralizes Mosley's power and so-called speed, what's left???

And that's the key to the fight, take Mosley's strengths away and make him fight Floyd's fight.
