Can Floyd Mayweather really beat Shane Mosley without taking Punishment?

That's what intrigues me about this fight, the 3 guys who beat Mosley had to ship some leather and all where bigger guys than Floyd. Cotto hits like a beast so he had the power to earn Mosley's respect, Forrest (RIP) and Winky were so much bigger than Mosley he basically lost those fights from the get go. Can Floyd stop Mosley walking him down? Mosley was been telling everyone that Floyd can't pot shot against him, this will be a great fight imo.

I would assume he would receive punishment after all he’s finally fighting a REAL Welter Weight not to mention a live underdog.

floyd is smart and has so many options. he dont potshot every fight. he does it when it works and he use it. he didnt potshot judah chop chop gatti castillo1 corales sosa ndou and many others. i hate when people see someone who has 40 fights and fought a certian way in like 3 of them and thats how he fights. hes a runner he potshots he jsut defense. thats like %5 of his fights. maywather can stand in the pocket and pick off mosley wide ass shots and make him miss.

mayweather can fight many ways and can adjust. believe me if potshot dont work he will find another way to fight mosley.

and remember mosley has ****ing defense. and timing can beat him all day
**** dela hoya is a better boxer than mosley. he never was a good boxer.
he was always a speedy gifted puncher

and dont forget floyd been boxing his whole life shane mosley aint nothing he never seen before he aint gonna be the biggest or hardest hitting guy. he aint even the fastest.
i remember when chico was knocking everyone out and undefeated and ppl thought he was way bigger than mayweather. man floyd picked him apart with precise accurate punching while moving. everyone suppose to be either bigger stronger or faster blah blah blah. well it aint about that its about being in peak condition and smarter than your opponent. and im tire of ppl saying floyd hard tough time with oscar. that was a easy fight floyd aint even go into 2nd gear

That was years ago. Styles evolve and Floyd hasn't fought that way in as many years. People talk about Floyd potshotting because that's what he's done in his most recent fights for the past couple of years. It's been a trend, and I doubt he's gonna fight any different for Mosley.

Floyd boxed Marquez, he out boxed Hatton, he just used a pot shot of a check left hook to seal the deal. Floyd can fight in the pocket better than any other fighter in the world. Others can sit in the pocket and hit while getting hit, floyd can sit in the pocket and hit without getting hit. You sound like a big fight fan, instead of a boxing fan. Do some research on your fighter and fights before you make silly comments.

I don't think Floyd is going to quit... I would be shocked if he did... Even if he took beating I don't see him quitting. Floyd toughness and heart is somewhat underrated... I think Floyd will win but it will not be as easy as some of his fans make it out to be... It will be a tough fight maybe the toughest for sure the toughest since the Castillo rematch... I wouldn't be surprise if Shane won. But, I think Floyd got this... But, no matter what I don't see Floyd quitting....
