prob hes more into the paydays.even if he loses he always get good paydays.after all hes kinda a journeyman.

Anybody who says 'I may not win' before a fight, is beat before he steps into the ring!

The only thing im not sure about is Bute's chin. Hes only been tested once in that regard in the first fight with Andrade and he almost got KO'd so it'll be interesting how he takes a flush shot from Miranda but ive still got Bute by decision.

Why does Bute only fight B and C level opponents? He's been the champ since 2007 and he continues to fight guys that have absolutely no chance at beating him.

He didn't choose Miranda, HBO did.

He's fought some decent opposition: Bika (who others have ducked), Andrade x 2, and Berrio.

Right now, I'd sooner see him fight Stieglitz and unify, but HBO has demanded he fight Miranda.

Anyway, Miranda vs. Bute should be a very entertaining fight.

This press release came from Interbox. Miranda's quote was taken out of context. He is very confident, but showed a lot of respect. He basically said he has nothing against Bute and will respect him before the fight and after the fight. During the fight he comes to win and will go home with the belt. After the fight, 'win or lose' I would enjoy going out to lunch with Bute.

That was more on the line of what Miranda actually said.

this could be a fantastic fight. bute has come on leaps and bounds and what can you say about miranda? he's a voracious beast and win or lose, he'll give his all and the opposition will definitely know they've been in a fight - what a throwback.

it's natural for people to look at the negatives, even in light of the fantastic 'super six'
, pointing out who should've been included and who shouldn't. that's just human nature. the truth of the matter is the 'super six' is fantastic for boxing and no match-ups featured are easy picks.
however, we still have some bonafide 'contenders' on the outside looking in, such as dangerman bika and bute.

His chin has been tested with a huge puncher in Berrio and Bika nad Andrade amongst others. It's solid.Plus he had a health problem in the first fight.

His defense is his problem not his chin.

AGAIN, he's fighting B and C level fighters. Everyone who signs with HBO should know they're about to get some easy fights. It's been happening for the past couple of years now. HBO giving us alot of fights when don't want to see. And if the fighter that's suppose lose actually wins on points, they get shafted.
