Well on tv and in the paper Tarver was the one they focused on. I had to read the paper once a week and write about something in it for one of my classes back in 8th grade. So i chose sports every week and i wrote a paper on antonio tarver and then another one on fernando vargas. They talked alot about vargas because he was from Oxnard so thats probably why. That summer i had to go to class so i got to do some easy work. But seriously, they hardly talked about mayweather until he got robbed.

I hardly remember raheem. i definately remember morel and david diaz though.

Its crazy because with all the ducking and chicken talk the last couple of years, at this point in 2010, mayweather will likely be fighting the number 3 and then the number 1 p4p, so im looking foward to 2010 for all 3 fighters win or lose.

But yea, following olympic boxing in 96 as well was cool. I also wrote a paper on michael johnson and his gold shoes.

When i pay for floyd PPVs i expect what ive seen of him since he was a hot prospect at the olympics. Its funny, at the olympics he wasnt even the star, it was actually antonio tarver.

Also, with floyd i expect to do what he does, box to the pedigree that hes been trained to do since birth. You keep saying "you dont get what you pay for" most people who have been around the sport the last 10 years know what they get with floyd.

There are plenty of fighters who engage in all out brawls, knockdowns etc. Floyd is one of the few pure boxers left in the entire sport.

I don't get why people say they are bored watching him fight. His technique and skill are incredible. There are tons of Brawlers out there. There aren't that many fighters that possess the entire package like Floyd does.
