OK... Bernard doesn't hit as hard, and Roy wasn't really taken out. If he got hit on the ear, then the punch may have been compacted by shock/equilibrium. I'd say if Roy was given a minute to recover, he'd been OK-ish. Roy is still a very capable fighter, and with the personal side, along with KO bonus, I expect it to be an exciting fight, while it lasts. Roy can crack, if he wants to, most likely. Remember the rematch with Montell Griffin? Personal(his 1st loss - BS). This seems to be even more so. Check your pulse, if you have no interest in this.

As for your question - if it is as well as with Lacy, then it could look bad for Bernard(in spots). Of course, they won't always be so close(my guess), and Bernard is much better than Lacy.Comment

even though this fight is like 6 years past its best due date i'm pulling for the executioner to beat the living **** outta roy jones jr i think bernard hopkins wants to destroy jones round by round and finally knock him out later on...i know i know roy jones jr is shot but all roy jones jr ever really had was tremendous physical skills while b hop worked his ass off every time he stepped inside the ringComment

Mental focus is demanding too. And for a guy that's 46, he's great. He's no Foreman at same age. And this fight should be interesting, if you know the story and have a pulse.Comment

I used to be a big fan of RJJ until he start getting Ko'd all over the world. He should have just retired when he beat Ruiz. Now,he wants to regain his old status but it's too late for him/No ones going to buy this fight.Wait for replay.Comment
