It should be more like whoever buys this fight would be doing a huge disservice to boxing. Whatta joke, this rematch is 10 years to late, it shoulda happened after Bhop beat Tito, remember King had plans for a Tito vs RJJ fight back in 02, should Tito have gotten past Bhop. Bhop shoulda moved up then.

I'd say if Roy was given a minute to recover, he'd been OK-ish. Roy is still a very capable fighter, and with the personal side, along with KO bonus, I expect it to be an exciting fight, while it lasts. Roy can crack, if he wants to, most likely. Remember the rematch with Montell Griffin? Personal(his 1st loss - BS). This seems to be even more so. Check your pulse, if you have no interest in this.
But, as I stated his punch resistance is diminished. I remember Tarver vs RJJ III when Tarver clipped him on the ropes and RJJ was in serious trouble from what seemed like a glancing blow. Now, more recently, Green clips him and he goes down, unable to beat the 10-count.
These are the things that ruin guys {Taking serious damage} and with all the studies done on the damage done to the brain from concussions - its clear to see that RJJ should not be fighting again. Because it doesn't take as much as it used to to take him out.
And whether B-Hop has KO power or not is irrelevant, because at this stage of RJJ's career .... you don't really need devastating KO power to get the job done against him.
I'll be taking as many bets as possible that B-Hop retires RJJ.
And on a side note: RJJ is one of the all time greats. Never will there be another even close to the RJJ we saw at his best. He should have and deserved to retire with alot more of his status intact. But, as is the case with many boxer's ... they just don't know when to quit.

Could you imagine Jones, Jr. actually pulling it off after such a disastrous loss?
That would be mind-blowing!
I was always rooting for Bernard, and given Jones' last fight, it makes me all the more certain that he'll lose.
How can Jones actually be there and promote a fight knowing what happened in his last fight? That must be eating him up inside...

This fight is sad for me a Jones fan.Roy has no chin left and he might get taken out.In their primes they were both awesome, but Jones was a freak of nature. There is no doubt in my mind that in his younger days Roy would have whooped Bernard in the morning and knocked Calzaghe out later in the evening. For that matter Bernard would have knocked calzaghe out in the morning and then gotten knocked out by Roy later that day.Bernard was one of my faves too, but nobody could hang with Roy.please retire Roy it's over.
