What is it you all see in Valero?? I am not impressed.

I noticed so many of you have became fans of this dude overnight.. I came on here the day after his fight and you all have sigs and 1000 threads comparing him to god...I'm not trying to star a flame war here...Just wondering what it is you all see...

Only thing I give him props for is he is a warrior for fighting with that HUGE gash. Other than that, he is so sloppy.. He throws the same one-two over and over.. He leaves his guard down and is always open for counters... His mouth hangs wide open which is asking for a KO.. No impressive footwork or head movement.. His head got rocked back several times..

So tell me... What is it you all see?? Is it because of his KO record against nobodys?? Wait till he gets to that world class level and see what happens...

i personally just like the way he fought through the blood and showed intensity im not with all the fantasy match ups against pac and other top wws at this point all of that **** is ridiculous but i do know that i will be rooting for valero in his next fight and he made a fan out of me. its not that i think he is a pound for pound top guy but i just like his fighting style and with the right trainers and promotion i think he has potential to be one of boxings most exciting fighters

I see a bit of myself in him when I was a bright eyed innocent child with a world of potential.

Yea.. Boxing could never have too many warriors...And he is a warrior which everyone loves to watch...But I see in his career him being more like a punching bag, rather than competition...And people comparing him to pacquiao??!! Whats the world of boxing fans coming to???

yeah i havent seen too much of valero but he seemed like an all action warrior who win or lose will fight to the end. i dont know how his career will end up or if his win against demarco was the best we will see or the beginning of a solid career but i will be looking forward to see how it all plays out. also as far as the hype on this site goes you should know by now that after a win your the next sugar ray and after a loss your an exposed bum i think that has been magnified with valero because of the lack of major fights and **** to talk about during the last few weeks.

I haven't made a thread about him or am over hyping him but what I was impressed about was that he did not quit with the big gash on his forehead and also showed some boxing skills while he was at it. A boxer with less heart/no determination would have quit and blame the cut. With quitting being a new trend nowdays, I appreciate what Valero did in that fight. To top it off, he won by stoppage.

But he shouldn't be overhyped yet. I knew he was going to beat Demarco by stoppage. But I did not know that he had decent defense for a brawler.

Haha..You're right..What was I thinking? This is the bandwagon station... It's just I never really seen this much hype for a basically no-name fighter...I'm not gonna lie, I didn't even know who he was untill a couple of days ago..I watched his fights- not impressed..
