Banks doesn't train hard anymore. I have it from a couple trustworthy sources that he has been half assing things ever since the Adamek fight and his trainer has grown very frustrated with him.

not the sport to be slacking in...you could get hurt.he's not a big heavyweight so he better shape up...then again the perfect division to get fat.

he's only fought Paul butlin,mora & Tyson fury victim with the kilt marcel"fuzzy"zeller.not exactly cream of the crop...his cw counterparts adamek(estrada,golota),haye(valuev,Barrett,ruiz)ar e way ahead of him in level of competition.

I think if he would of had more experience going in against adamek, he just mightof beathim. he was controlling the pace perfectly for the first few rounds, and was ailing adamek flush. he COULD be serious contender at heavyweight if he gets himself in decent shape. he didnt look that bad against mora, he could of bee a lttl more toned up, but overall helooked ok.

also i believe they are trying to get dominick guinn to be his opponent on that date. should be a tough fight for him.

That's the name that's getting thrown around and it's a dangerous fight for Banks. You never know what you are gonna get from Dominick Guinn, possibly the most inconsistent fighter still active today.

nice to hear guinns name.I hope that's who is fighting him.goossen dropped him,ron shields told him to retire so he has lots to prove.he's very dangerous! Power,great chin but just not active enough in his fights.he was pissed at goossen & has challenged arreola a few times & before his last six rounder he came to Canada & crushed jf bergeron(who went 12 with valuev),& undefeated johnnie white(blownup 21-0 record).he's very dangerous as I said before.guinn knicks him out within 4 or 5 if they fight.always liked guinn.he never recovered from Barrett loss.
