That fight proved that Margarito was tailer made for Shane not that Shane is any better than he was when he lost in 07, Roach said it accurately, Shane does well with guys that come straight to him.

Giving him subliminal credit because he has in the past been reluctant does not do it for me. Mayweather will never get credit for me as he has left it too late and the fights that woulda meant something mean little because they are either old, shot or have beaten and had their confidence destroyed.

Call me a hater, and what? its the truth.
I never called you a hater dude...

Well, like stated before there are always two for a tango... I don't know why anybody always criticises Floyd for fights ain't happening? I said it before... it's not like he was an DLH who could run around and choose who to fight... you can lay the burden on him when it comes to Margarito... but nobody else really...

Mosley... and I can post you the link had the fight on the table back in 06... and wanted none... Schaeffer himself said it... back in 99 Floyd wanted him but he moved up for DLH... and in all the time between it... Mosley and Floyd never were near in weight... so I don't know at which point he should have fought him... that Marga was made for Mosley is no question... and that Mosley with 38 is beyond his prime is no question as well... but that he is the best welter right now beside Pac is no question as well.

You don't have to give him credit for fighting Mosley... but why critisice him??? Who else should he have fought after Pac ain't materialized???

Bolded part Right on point. And Rafael has Mosley ranked as the Number 1 WW.

BLABLABLA, this dude is a blind hater, Floyd fought three legit WW in Baldomir, Judah and Hatton( 140pound King and WW belt holder after a win over Collazo). He ducked Cotto and Margarito but signing a Mosley fight is a good thing for the sport of boxing.

Now that Floyd finally fights Mosley, STFU and stop making excuses. I was gonna be the first to insult Floyd if he were to fight Matt Hatton, now that he's growing some balls, he gets my respect.

Larry Merchant, Dan Rafael are those kind of people who will always find a way to discredit what Floyd does. Criticizing him is OK but you have to do it for the right reasons. If i'm right, Rafael was one of the people who complained because Floyd asked for blood tests. You can't be a serious journalist and not raise questions about Manny's integrity and nuthug him because of the money involved in promoting Pacquiao as the greatest star in boxing.

Yeah, May/Shane was like, "yeah, finally!!!!". It would not have been a big deal had Floyd fought other real welters. This is like his baptism into the world of men. Hope he don't run too much.

Your comparing Hatton (not legit), Judah (good but not great), and Baldomir (lucky bastard) to Cotto, Margarito, and Mosely. Get of here.

I'm happy Floyd is fighting Mosley, but at the same time this is what's EXPECTED of someone who's known throughout the world as one of the best if not THE best.

Could he have fought better oposition in the last 4 years? Sure. Would he have stayed undefeated throughout? We'll never know...

I'd really like to know where this running thing came from. mayweather nevr runs. the guy will move around to make an adjustment, but overall the guy is usually right in front of his opponent and they still cant hit him. people sound childish when they say he "runs" the guy barely even circles the ring.

On one hand Floyd is doing what he's supposed to be doing so it doesn't get him completely of the hook, on the other hand he's fighting the top guy at 147, it's finally happening but at least it's actually taking place.

I wouldn't be pissed if Floyd fought Pacquiao after this, then called it a career.
