      valero didnt even do a full shoulder defense is whats worse.
      Oh I read it wrong then... Valero said it after his fight with DeMarco??? I ain't saw the interviews...

      I thought he said it after the Floyd-Marquez fight.

        look at his post & thread title;

He predicted Pacquiao would KO Oscar. In that same Interview, somehow Mayweather's name was mentioned and Valero said (while imitating the shoulder roll), "I don't like that, I like to fight" (while making a fist). He did say Floyd is an amazing fighter.

        It seems Valero changed his mind about Floyd's style after seeing him dominate Marquez so easily, the man who the majority thought out-boxed Pacquiao x2, because during the Valero vs DeMarco fight we saw Valero doing his best Floyd impression at times. I thought it was very cool to see that! After the fight Valero said, "I learned a lesson in this fight, I can't just come forward and throw, I must pace myself". In short, the lesson he learned was to be more like Floyd using movement and rolling punches, etc. It was impressive to see how humble Valero was and how he's improving and changing his style during fights.

        I was thinking about this and feel his 100% KO ratio is coming at an end after his next fight. I think we're going to see a very slick Valero dominate his next opponent from round 1. If he does get a KO, I will bet the over rounds, because I think Valero "the boxer" has just matured a lot.

          MAD HEART!
          that gash in forehead start of fight would have melted most.
          that was an astounding cut. his corner deserves an award.

          wonder if they still allow adrenaline mixed with vaseline to stop bleeding.
          anyone know?

            One thing is for sure, a teaspoon of blood won't affect Valero! The sight of blood turns him into even more of an animal. He's a true warrior and beast.

                Yeah as soon as Valero saw all that blood he just turned into a beast. Just as the commentators mentioned, that reminded me alot of the Hagler-Hearns fight.

                It definitely brought back some memories.

                    actually, I was thinking just like tase. When I saw the title, I thought he was going to quote Valero but he really didnt. I was then going to ask for a link but no one else brought it up until I read what tase said. I dont agree with all the fraud stuff, lol but you cant just put words in people's mouth.

                    With that being said, I wrote immediatly after the fight that the #1 thing that stood out to me and impressed me the most was his defense. It was crazy good. Could that be him learning from Floyd? Sure but it also may not be. I wouldnt put words in his mouth. I do think someone probably told him that if he doesnt use more pure boxing skill & defense then he will never be as great as he couldve been but that dont mean it was about Floyd. Could be but I wont put the words in his mouth

                      Blood turns Valero into a beast. He will never run away from $40M because of a drop of blood. He loves to see his blood pour, turns him into a primal monster!
