He said Oscar was not even training and that he (Valero) was beating up Oscar so bad in sparring, he was laughing, and said he was thrown out of camp for giving Oscar a beating. He predicted Pacquiao would KO Oscar. In that same Interview, somehow Mayweather's name was mentioned and Valero said (while imitating the shoulder roll), "I don't like that, I like to fight" (while making a fist). He did say Floyd is an amazing fighter.

It seems Valero changed his mind about Floyd's style after seeing him dominate Marquez so easily, the man who the majority thought out-boxed Pacquiao x2, because during the Valero vs DeMarco fight we saw Valero doing his best Floyd impression at times. I thought it was very cool to see that! After the fight Valero said, "I learned a lesson in this fight, I can't just come forward and throw, I must pace myself". In short, the lesson he learned was to be more like Floyd using movement and rolling punches, etc. It was impressive to see how humble Valero was and how he's improving and changing his style during fights.

I was thinking about this and feel his 100% KO ratio is coming at an end after his next fight. I think we're going to see a very slick Valero dominate his next opponent from round 1. If he does get a KO, I will bet the over rounds, because I think Valero "the boxer" has just matured a lot.

This Valero dude is pure caveman-class... gotta love this guy...

Can't hate on somebody who made me some points and on top of that doesn't like guys or styles but respectfully...

      Cave-Man class

I'm curious, who's your favorite boxer?

Reason I ask, is because after I made this thread I have received some hate from Pacquiao fans. The posters who are fans of anyone else have made sensible replies in this thread.

Look what these two hates left me. (Both Pacquiao fans)

I don't see anything I said that deserves Red K. Does anyone else?

You are Flawless??? The guy with the great accent *looooooooooooool*

I have a lot of favorites on top because I guess you wanna know that... I like both Floyd and Pacquiao...

Don't let them get to you... they simply can't stand the fact that a warrior (in their eyes) like Valero says something nice about Floyd because he is such a chicken *looooooooooooooooooool*

But the Valero hype train started no doubt... I think it is way to early though... I bet on him against DeMarco... but both ain't fought an elite guy... Valero as it seems doesn't take advise well... this will be his downfall... probably after a loss he will start to listen but the question is how old he will be at that time... anybody who says right now that he would beat Mayweather or Pacquiao is just nuts... but it will take a good fighter to beat him... he has some flaws... but you have to be pretty good to come around his strenghts.

Yeah, It's funny. I saw that and was thinking, "who the hell is flawless". They seem to be very edgy and insecure.

I'll be looking forward to see Valero's next fight. I'll be looking out for those shoulder rolls. Maybe he'll do the Ali shuffle next.

you mean yesterday you didnt know who valero was. pretty much everyone knew of him or about him. ive seen about 7 of his fights on youtube and i order that ppv with chaves vs katstidis and valero was on undercard. this was his big showing on national tv. so alot of people got to see him against a good fighter and outclassed him all the way

man this guy showed he can think in the ring.
so what if his ko ratio goes down. he's finaly stepping it up and fighting top tier.
not totaly sold on edwin but almost there.

felt demarco and his corner throwing in the towel was a smart move.
demarco was so far behind on cards a ko was the only way and tony didnt have it in him to do so without eating more knuckle sandwiches.
                *knuckle sandwiches* lmao

I blame the WBC for fighters quitting like this due to the open scoring... its a joke

but valero DID NOT SAY ANYTHING ABOUT MAYWEATHER. the way the ALT TS wrote his post & titled his thread made it look like valero mentioned fraud jr. & gave thanks or something. HE DIDNT. He tried to play it off as if it was a quote. It was his opinion. the alt ts thinks a boxer does anything defensive its attributed to mayweather.

valero didnt even do a full shoulder defense is whats worse.
