I don't like Floyd one bit but his win against Oscar is a ton better than Pac. He fought Oscar with all the advantages to Oscar.
Me and you dont agree much but i agree on this.

Fighting one of the top 154 Pounders in a small ass ring, with small ass gloves while your opponent weighed over 160 Pounds and he had KO power.

    Was a risk.

No matter how anyone slices it.,

Kostya was not showing the best defense in that fight...

Casa is the only one that really comes close to mixing offense and defense but he did not do it as good as Floyd did...
yes he did.....tzu vs juadh was brought to show you tzu had a btter offense than floyd....like i said offensively, plus, its a matter of opinions anyways.....

Martinez would of whooped and Oscar knew it... The prime Dzinziruk would of beat him... Spinks had a good chance of beating him... Shane Mosley beat him..

I don't think it's necessarily a perception of risk, but rather where was Oscar was ranked.

But, again he was not top 3 when Floyd fought Oscar... No matter how you try to flip it he wasn't...

Pac also fougth Oscar with all the advantages to Oscar... Floyd is not the only one... Oscar gets all the advantages in all his fight... His Oscar De la Hoya... What you think Hopkins really wanted to fight Oscar at a catch-weight? No that was an advantage towards Oscar... No matter who you are you concede to Oscar... I don't get why everybody make it seem like Floyd is the only one who done it...

Yeah but Oscar was number 3 with a loss to Mayweather and no other fights that year. So he finished 3 even with a loss. I've been looking for the week by week rankings but can't find anything lol

Every fucking thread on this forum is either a Floyd appreciation or Floyd attack thread. I got no clue how old this site is but FFS I'd like to see what posters talked about before May 2007.
