The only thing I disagree with is that - AND PLEASE BELIEVE ME I HATE TO SAY THIS - but the match should be declared NC and so therefore - PLEASE IN THE NAME OF GOD LET IT NOT BE TRUE - Ruiz be given back the belt.

Check out the latest press release from Goosen-Tutor on www.*********.com. My take is that it's some combination of things his doctor prescribed to heal his torn bicep. Don't anyone jump to conclusions, trial by the media is unjust, and STEROIDS are the latest demon. I should know, I'm a telemarketer.

Toney's body doesn't reflect a fighter taking mass muscle substances, nor would anyone in their right mind be taking any banned substances, while knowingly and willingly giving urine samples. Toney's weight loss was substantial from the day the fight was announced to the event, totally inconsistent with the signs of an athlete using substances to add muscle mass.

This has been the most common thing I read associated with the Toney controversy - his body doesn't look like it. But again, this steroid taken is supposed to increase endurance, not build muscle mass. Like all boxing fans I am hoping that this article is accurate, but it seems as though the decision has already been made.

I want to note that I am a big Toney fan, additionally, he increased my points tenfold after the fight.

I think its a sad day for boxing fans period. I mean how long are we going to hear that I didnt know what i was taking excuse and no one receiving the according punishment.

If Toney has a certified doctor willing to go to bat & say that this was something prescribed to him to help with the biceps injury ( common practice for muscle injuries), then I think that this should be looked at differently & not result in a suspension. If this is the case wait 3 months to make sure Toney is clear of the substance & let them fight again. Toney will probably come in better shape w/o Roids and beat has ass worse this time.

Another thing all the Ruiz fans out there need to be true to themselves and understand that with our without any enhancing drugs Ruiz couldn’t beat Toney on his best day. They should just be happy that Ruiz may have another shot at the title against someone may actually be able to beat.

Ha ha. Toney could never beat Ruiz without illegal drugs to enhance his performance. He knew it, that's why he cheated. Why else would he cheat? There is no other reason other than his own insecurity in his abilities versus Ruiz.

After Toney gets through his 2 year suspension, maybe Ruiz throws him a bone to fight fair next time. Here's an idea: your boy can beat Ruiz without drugs? PROVE IT.

Until then he proved he couldn't.

If these allegations are true then it is truly a sad day for Toney fans like myself. A lot of people dislike Toney because he is a **** talker and his physical appearance isn’t the greatest. I on the other hand have always appreciated his boxing skills and dedication to the sport. James has superior skill, matched by only a few, and brings character to the sport. But if these charges are found to be true, Toney should be stripped of the Title and the title vacant. Ruiz and the # 3 contender should have a shot at it. Don’t get me wrong I hope and would like to believe that Toney wouldn’t knowingly do anything like this, but if he did then he should be punished. r u serious? Do you really beleive what you are saying? I respect Ruiz as a fighter, he has proven to be very tough and durable. But lets be real he is in no way a better fighter than toney. If the aligations are true then maybe ruiz should get his belt back, but he will know he could never beat toney.

I beleive Ruiz would beat Toney in a fair rematch and providing he fights his own fight rather than to excite the fans. Sure Toney has better talent, everyone knows that, but talent alone doesn't guarantee a win and you should know that.

I'm saying if Toney should have schooled Ruiz than he should have fought fair. Now we'll never know for sure how it would have turned out.
