I've seen almost all their fights and it is early to tell. Especially with them at different levels. Gamboa has progressed the farthest and seems to have good power but I'd like to see him fight more top competition first.

The vote for Yudel Jhonson... I'm curious what you see in him that makes you think that he is going to go far?

Rigondeaux-altough his style ain't too good for the pros his skills should take him very far regardless.

specially Rigo. For a two time gold madalist, he could very well fight in his first pro fight against someone in top 15-20. then make him fight 2-3 fights more against those caliber. Then jump to top 10-15 2-3, then top 10..

but that way he is promoted.. he'll be in his 30's before fighting for a title-elimnator..
rigo only has 5 pro fights and gamboas already a 'champ' and has been brought along extremly quick and lara's last opponent was really inpressive especially considering its only his 10th outing ...

u wanna see what happens when u put 'em in too quick watch the shu fight from last weekend against campillo.

they have been in pretty good and much faster then most .... now its time for gamboa to really step it up a level and lara needs only a couple more. Rigondeaux aint ready but hes already fighting 8 rounders and can be pushed to 10rds easily.

A slick, defensive southpaw with a mean body attack. How is that bad for the pros?

              That's what I was thinking...

However, I think the argument is that a guy who refuses to lead does not have a pro-friendly style.

Way to passive. If the other guy doesn't make a mistake or let his hands go he doesn't fire his punches.

He can easily be outworked at world level.

It's going to take someone really fast, accurate and who has a good defense (meaning they get those hands back to guard them extremely fast) to completely shut down Rigondeaux's counterpunching game. That body shot KO on FNF probably could have put some champions both down and out. That was wicked.

That's really interesting. It's the only opponent he didn't KO and didn't really hurt badly, or so I've read. There was a flash knockdown. He did win every round though.
