Which Cuban do you see going the farthest?

There are quite a few good Cuban defectors right now.

I think Rig..It really depends these guys are just getting their pro careers kicked off..out of Rig, Gamboa and Lara I think Rig has the most potential. I think Gamboa will reach his pinacle and his reflexes will fade and there will be nothing to fall back on. Rig is more technically solid than Gamboa and Lara

I agree on Gamboa... the reflexes go and he is done as an elite fighter.

I do think Lara is pretty damn technically solid.

My vote would be to one of the three people you outlined... Gamboa, Lara or Rigondeaux. I haven't seen a whole lot negative from any of them.

talent wise Gamboa & Rigo.. problem is, they are pushing them real slow..
specially Rigo. For a two time gold madalist, he could very well fight in his first pro fight against someone in top 15-20. then make him fight 2-3 fights more against those caliber. Then jump to top 10-15 2-3, then top 10..

but that way he is promoted.. he'll be in his 30's before fighting for a title-elimnator..

I think Rigo will go the farthest the fastest. That guy could fight for a world title tomorrow and win, so I see him gaining the most steam early. He is already 29, though, so its hard to say how long he will have at the top if an when he gets there.
Lara I see probably having the most long term success. Hes the youngest of the bunch, 26, already 10-0 with a win over Brewer. He seems to have the savvy and mentality to last a long time at the elite level.
Gamboa is somewhere in between the two. He has already found a good deal of success, and I dont expect him to get knocked off too soon. That said, he is 28, and whether or not he can hang with truly elite fighters remains to be seen.
Either way I think these three all do big things in the sport, and all will be involved in some classic and memorable bouts. Solis probably wont be around too long, he is fat and obviously doesnt take training seriously. Some skilled HW is gonna knock him off his high horse pretty soon here.

I dont think its gonna go that way. Roach is telling his people that he is ready to fight for a world title right now... if they wanna make their bones, and believe me they do, they wont have too many more blowouts for him before they give him a real test.

Luckily one of the major bodies, I think the IBF, had him ranked 15th contender even before yesterdays fight.
