I told u guys from day one that valero would KO this guy, but didnt think that demarco would still be standing up. Now u have ask the question about valero's power now that his opposition level has risen. Is it really strong? Aint proven yet till he faces a A or B class fighters.

Guys like Funeka, Katsidis, Marquez, Diaz et al are not easily intimidated as young Demarco was. Whatsmore, they'll throw back and throw hard. If Valero can dominate the current lightweight scene his greatness will be apparent. But he's gotta fight these guys and keep knocking them out. Today was another big statement. Hopefully there are more to come.
Diaz would get an ass whoopin of a lifetime. His chin aint that good and he just moves forward + his power aint that good either. I wanna see valero vs katsidis. and then against marquez.

He beaten a Class D fighter and you're impressed? That tells a lot about your boxing knowledge...
        is what everybody says
        I remember ppl were saying
"Demarco is a world class fighter he will knockout this bum"
        and now that Valero won
        ppl are saying
"he wasn't ready, he is still an amateur"
        keep on hating
        what if he beat diaz?
        what will the excuse be?
[diaz is out of his prime? diaz isn't an A class fighter?]
for your info, Valero had to fight him
because Demarco is the #1 lightweight contender
[but you wouldn't know that, that tells a lot about your boxing knowledge]

          Impresive...

I've seen Valero fight 4 times before this & I didn't think much of him, but this time he really impressed Me...I thought DeMarco would give him a way tougher fight since DeMarco has shown he's a good all around fighter & had the skills to even beat Valero, well I was wrong!..Valero plain & simply overwhelmed DeMarco..Valero didn't get gased(like everyone thought he would)didn't stop throwing punches, didn't get discouraged when he saw DeMarco taking his shots, showed good foot movement & some defense(even thou Valero has the bad habit of keeping his hands low)& showed a big heart when Valero kept fighting with that huge gash(that wouldn't stop bleeding threw the hole fight) on his head. With a gash that big. any other fighter would have quit...& at the end he was humble saying "this was by all, was his best performance but he still had a lot of learning to do"...Hopefully this will open doors for Valero & finally will get him his license back to fight in the u.s.

Valero has excellent upside, dude has heart & skills that were clearly evident last night. Now he needs to fight some of the some of the top lightweights (Funeka,Guzman,Katsidis, J Diaz etc..) in order to prove he is the top rated Lightweight.

Deep division with excellent fighters. If he cleans out the division he will get mad props.
