I havent seen aguy freeze people like that since Tyson. I told everybody this on the show that Valero wins before he even enters the ring.
People are scared of him. They are scared to throw in fear of being decapitated.

Valero really impressed me tonight. That type of aggression & speed does freeze fighters. They cannot respond mentally to the attack & it manifest physically. I wouldnt go too far to the tyson comparison. Manny Pacquiao habitually does this to his opponents.

Offensively powerful & aggresive fighters often freeze opponents. Being a southpaw just compounds the problems.

When fighters are bullies and intimidaters, they lose to everyone that isn't afraid of them.

Where was that power he hit Demarco over and over with flush lefts and could not drop him.

I think the greater height and reach of DeMarco made it difficult to land perfectly. Being a southpaw didn't help him much either in that regard.
Lastly, DeMarco has a pretty solid chin having never been stopped before.

Put someone like Katsidis and or Juan Diaz in with Valero. I have feeling neither would make it very far in the fight unless Valero's power at 135 has dropped off significantly which I doubt. He crushed Pitalua who possessed a very solid chin with one right hook.

What terrifies me is the amount of choking on Valero's **** that is happening now in NSB.

Some real slobbering throat action going on.
