Even though I know Hugo Chavez is an enemy of the U.S. and Valero is a representative of him, I am not gonna keep overseas issues from becoming a fan of this guy. Valero is a frigging bad ass. No wonder Doug Fischer calls him his son. Lol.

If you truly understand the sport of boxing, you will know for sure that Valero is definetely the real deal. His speed and footwork, was astounding. His defense is much better than I expected, and his ability to slip in and out was great. This was my first time seeing him, and I am a big fan already. I don't see anyone at 135 taking him out. A great match would be him and Bradley at 140. Valero and katsidis would be fun to watch, but he would knock Katsidis out within 5 rounds. He reminds one of Pac when he was fighting at 122 or 126, in his earlier career, but the footwork of Valero is already of a seasoned vet. I can't wait to see him again, and hopes he gets licensed in the states.

Man, did Valero gain some respect tonight or what? I must admit that I picked Demarco to cruise to a UD win by fighting tall, working behind the jab and boxing beautifully. Well, that didn't come to fruition ,but we
were treated to a boxing clinic by Valero with some swift combinations and alot of hard left hands thrown in. That's why I love boxing, u just never know what's going to happen when 2 fighters get in the ring. I have must respect for Valero, he put on a great show and showedtremendous heart after suffering that brutal gash on his head via that accidental elbow from Demarco. I think Valero will be a force to be reckonded with in the LW division for just about anyone there if and when he gets his license situation resolved. Now I'm not saying he can or will beat this guy or that guy,i'm just saying that he seems to be very, very legit. As we all know styles make fights ,so i'm not going to say what he can do to someone else based on what I just saw tonight. I will say this though, unless he gets his visa and his licensing straightened out the big name guys will always have an excuse not to fight him.
