He will probably end up fighting the winner of the super six but that won't be for at least another year and a half. He will need other opponents before that. I say his best option with be Bute in late 2010.

I just hope Cloud is the real deal and can win impressively against Johnson, it would be a resume building win because Johnson just beat Mack who is no slouch though clearly Mack clearly has a problem against a pressure style.

Bute is a really good option if Bute wants that fight and I could see why Bute would do it as his options at 168 kind of suck while the super six is ongoing. Also both the guys will have been on HBO a decent ammount so I could see HBO trying to make that happean.

I think HBO is looking to make Pavlik-Bute. Bute would never fight Dawson. Bute doesn't even fight A-level guys at 168.

Bute would have to come up for Dawson, or it would atleast have to be at a catch weight. Bute would probably be better served to fight Pavlik comming up to 168 but it is always good to have a second option sicne he can make bank against anyone in Montreal.

Also if Dawson can beat Pascal in Montreal he would atleast gain some awareness of the boxing public there and that probably appleal to Bute. Or if Pavlik gets the nod then fight Diacinu in Montreal and build the fight even more.
