If Johnson beats Cloud and Dawson beats Pascal will Dawson starve?

If old man Glenn off of his impressive win last night finds a way to beat the relatively untested Cloud and later if Dawson beats Pascal, then I guess Dawson would have no viable competition who he can make some coin off of.

I fear if this happens one of my personal favorite fighters may go hungry and starve to death if he stays at 175.

If this happens either some of the SMWs need to move up, or Dawson needs to either go to 168 or 200.

Dawson should fight Glen again. Or fight Hopkins. Or Campillo.

You can't expect Dawson to move up to 200, he not big enough especially as he weighs in at 173 etc.

If he beats Pascal, I suppose a rubber match with Johnson would be expected but I would still like to see him beat Cloud because Cloud is an exciting fighter with big power. Diaconu may also still be interesting as he's also an all action fighter.

I think he would take apart Shumanov but both that fight and a Campillo fight would be interesting Zsolt Erdei is moving back down so if he Erdei decides he wants to fight someone who wasn't picked out of the crowd (Fragomeni was a good win though) then that fights stil viable.

There are still plenty of options left at 175, and Hopkins is still there if they can make the fight.

He has been trying to get that one since the Adamek win, Johnson is no match now for Dawson. Did you see the rematch he won in such dominant fashion that I wouldn't want to see it.

Campillo is an interesting fight but he may rematch Shumenov I hope after that robbery.

              Campillo sounds good.

Hes not gonna fight Glen again.

He should fight the winner of the super-six

Going to 200 would be a mistake but yes if Johnson were to win that is not a viable matchup. Either Dawson would have to drop down(not sure if this is an option) or talk one of the heavy hitters from 168 into facing him at 175. He may be able to get Bute to move up if the money is right. BHOP won't fight him so that's not an option.

Bute could move up and fight him. That would be huge money in canada.

he needs to stop looking at the top 5 LHW and dig deeper to find some strong contenders that are worthy of a title shot...they're out there if he's willing to sacfrice some $$$ but he got time to get it all back

plus he wouldn't even surive 168, he barely makes LHW and come in close to 200
