this is going to be a great fight. i think martinez's speed and boxing will come out on top though. yes kelly will be bigger and stronger but martinez will have speed on his side, and he's a pretty slick boxer, i can see him slipping and fainting kelly for most of the fight. he also has a decent chin. pavlik doesn't have the workrate pwill does so martinez will stay fresh the whole fight.

Pavlik, the WBC/WBO champion, will defend the titles against Martinez at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City on April 17. A deal is not a "done deal" until both fighters sign the contracts, but Top Rank and Lou DiBella are confident the fight will move forward. I've heard HBO has been already notified about the latest developments. [Click Here To Read More]

Pavlik will stop him unless Martinez chin somehow holds up. For being a smaller guy, Martinez just isn't perfect enough to pull this off. Paul Williams had him ready to go late in that fight, but couldn't put that one punch on him that would have pushed Martinez over the edge. I like Martinez early in this fight, but Pavlik's power and size will likely be too much.
Pavlik late KO.
