Martinez made Paul look slow. Paul speed gauge is maybe two levels above Margo's. So let say that is a 5 compared to a 7. That is good speed, but not blazing. YOu said good speed. I said good speed. Margo threw alot of wide punches, the few he threw straight, got there with decent speed. Margo had more speed than many gave him credit for.

How did he make Paul look slow. He hit Martinez more then anyone hes ever fought. Martinez EVEN said that.

Watch how he plays counter puncher vs. Q in the re-match. That was a great adjustment by Williams team.



Watch the boxing skills he used vs. Margarito early. The jab, moved his head, circled Margarito. This dude will only get better.

I'm a huge PW fan but his skills are not under rated. He is a pressure high volume fighter. Now I do believe he can be a defensive fighter if he wanted to but he is shooting for the big money so he needs to be exciting and therefore technically average. This approach will get him stopped against puszy pav indeed. but, i dont think he and his trainer peterson are that dumb. if they fight he will box from the outside and easily win rds that way. against martinez he told everyone he was coming to **** and thats what he did. gotta love but he wont be around for too much longer.

Williams didn't beat Margarito because he has a freakish frame, he beat him because he used his superior boxing skills to outbox Margarito of the backfoot. Watch the fight, the guy used boxing to outbox Margarito.

Margarito was able to get close to Williams in the late rounds and get some shots in but it was too late.

I'm not saying Williams has Floyd Mayweather boxing skills. I think his boxing skills are decent and are overall underated by boxing fans.

No **** he gets hit. So does Manny Pacquiao. What do you mean his jab is OK. He doubles and triples it and throws more jabs then ANYONE in the sport. He has good head movement too.

What about the first? He struggles with lefties. And it was still close IMO I had it 7-5.
