However, I do question the rationale in determining that a penalty for being overweight is the same as refusing Olympic Style Drug testing, but then again this is Mayweather Jr. If Mayweather were to weigh over 147, the day before the fight, the Fine is to make sure the fight still happens rather than being canceled. So basically PacMan imposing the outrageous fine is just a way to Make sure Mayweather weighs in correctly instead of Disrespecting his Opponent and Boxing by not caring about the weigh in, Like with the Juan Manuel Marquez fight. Mayweather just paid the fine without remorse and was easily 10 to 15 pounds heavier than Marquez, and it showed in the fight, with an easy victory. Even though it was only one fight, Mayweather now has a history of not caring about the weigh in and PacMan was not going to chance it happening again. But if FLoyd weighs in correctly, it wouldnt matter if the Fine is 100million per ounce over 147 because it would not take into effect. Now on the other hand PacMan, whose only history of steroids is from Mayweather Sr, and some guys who pluck their Eyebrows named Malignaggi and Cintron, is acting like a ***** for not taking the Tests and taking some heat from the fans and media for it. Is it fair, probably not, but if Mayweather beats Mosely, PacMan will not have a choice but to take the Drug tests anyway. I applaud Mayweather for trying to make Boxing better by demanding these enhanced drug screens, but does Floyd really think Boxing can afford to administer Olympic Style Drug testing in all their Matches. Floyd Jr. Fights once a year, maybe twice if he is lucky, but their is about another couple of thousand pro fights and will all those fights have Olympic Style Drug Testing too. Maybe its a cheap process that can be added without any problems but i have a feeling its considerably more expensive than whats in place now. If both Mayweather and PacMan lose in their upcoming fights, which is a possibility, then Steroid testing becomes a mute issue and dies off like the Macarena...But if they Both win, then Come May 2nd everyone on here will become Experts on PEDS. Lets see what happens.
It wont happen in all fights only WT fights .

The other thing is when has Floyd ever weighed over 147 , never !

The other thing is Clottey has weighed over 147 11 times , did Pac give him a 10 million weight clause , this is proving it was just a bull**** throw off to get away from the PEDS scandle laying that on Floyd who has never been over 147 , Floyd gave Mosley the same test option he gave Pac ,,, its plain to see who is consistent in all this ,,,

For example: if a black man becomes partner a a law firm, and one of the white partners doesn't think he got the promotion based on performance, but because he's black, and insist that he takes the bar exam over to prove it, does he do it. NO!

Its about principle, not about trying to prove someone wrong. Floyd should have tried to clean up the sport when he was fighting Gatti, Baldomir, Judah, Dela Hoya etc.
thats just a crazy comparision. if manny wanted to make sure everyone came in at the agreed upon wt he should have started with jmm or cotto. to ask floyd to pay 10 million for each pound is just wrong or is it"? thats the purpose of contract negotiations. every thing wanted is put in the contract to be agreed or disagreed upon. if its good for one side its good for both sides. the diff is floyd agreed to pacs demands pac could not agree to floyds demands. if its about principal pac has to set the example but he didnt and the fans are letting him get away with it

But try this one and it's realistic because it's current: SHOULD ***** HAVE TO PROVIDE HIS BIRTH CERTIFICATE TO PROVE TO BIRTHERS,*************,TEA-BAGGERS OR **********S THAT HE IS AN AMERICAN CITIZEN?

Rumors of him not being a US citizen have floated around for the past two years. Should he provide it just to assuage those who are basing their assumptions on rumors and innuendo?
Another dumb analogy. His birth certificate has been made public. It's just small minded people (like yourself) that has to have an excuse for an African American being President...

        • this phony ****ker has to be the most shallowest, conceited, & down right dishonest athlete i have ever seen in all my years watching sports. I have never heard a boxer talk about MONEY so much. How much he has,how much he makes etc. NEVER. Not even mike tyson talked like this. Yet the guy has money problems.

You can make 200 million? sure fraud jr. sure. Just like you made 20 million for one night with the wwe & just like you are worth what now 200 million? Before you were worth 600 million liquid.

I have never seen a professional athlete getting interviewed by a sportscaster try to compare his salary to the interviewer interviewing him the way he did with brian kenny.

I mean who does this kinds of things?

Its ironic for a guy who has the nickname money & claims to have so much money is having money problems & getting sued left & right & has a tax lien against him by the IRS. At one point didnt even pay the trash man.

In other words if it's good enough for Nevada it should be good enough for Mayweather supporters, in similar fashion to the Hawaii birth certificate as you and I both agree should be good enough as proof.
After reading all the posts with really poor analogies and rebuttals I believe that many of you must not only be fans of boxing but taken a few shots to the head yourself.

Example switchsouthpaw tries to say because ***** has been proven a citizen by his birth certificate, it can relate to Pac being juice free because of his prior urine tests. Okay think about it for a minute. ***** is born once and has only one certificate. He cant change his place of birth but Pac can change whether or not he uses PED's. Secondly Pac has never proven he can pass random style drug testing. He has passed drug tests that many PED's users have passed. So Pac not taking the tests does not mean that he is guilty but does raise some su****ion. The only way it can go away in this case is maybe with time but definitely by taking the tests.
