Comments Thread For: Floyd Mayweather Jr. Advises Ricky Hatton To Retire

Floyd Mayweather Jr. has advised the comebacking Ricky Hatton to forget about a ring return. He says Hatton should retire. Mayweather says Hatton took a very bad beating at his hands back in 2007, and went through a lot of wars during his career. He does agree that Hatton's habit of gaining massive amounts of weight between fights was a factor in the damage on the Manchester star's career. [Click Here To Read More]

Two brutal KO's is bad for anybody. He's had a good career and no one can fault him. He lost to the 2 best fighters in the world. Other that Oscar, no other fighter will ever be able to say they were in the ring with Floyd and Manny.

notice Floyd didn't mention the Pacquiao KO loss suffered by Ricky ......wonder if he did that on purpose because THAT KO was worst than the one he gave Ricky imo!!

Floyd has definatley got a point when he says about Hatton ballooning in weight between fights. This means that he has to train for like 4 months overall for a fight. He trains for 1 n half month getting his weight down, thne he starts 12 week camp.
