Comments Thread For: Klitschko-Valuev Has May 29 Working Date; Botha-Abell

Former WBO flyweight champion Jose Antonio Lopez Bueno of Zaragoza, Spain, has announced his retirement - but he intends to go out with a farewell fight at home on May 8. Opponent is to be announced. Lopez Bueno, 36, has a record of 30-10-4 and never won the European title despite several attempts but back in 99 he did win the WBO crown.

I'd much rather see Vitali face Dimitrenko, Tua, or Toney.

vitali vs valuev is okay,Botha vs abell is not what I wanted but I always liked Botha, mccline is coming back as well! Always liked him & was disappointed in him vs arreola.he was in the worst shape I ever seen him in & he just showed up for a payday.in shape he had a solid chance against arreola or at least taking him deeper than the 4th.he laid down in my eyes.that was only 6 months after he won an ibf eliminator vs mollo in japan...he's going the Europe route like brewster...I hope his comeback is better than brewsters.I doubt it though because he's almost 40.

Tua is not ready to face Vitali. Knocking out Shane Cameron does not mean much. He needs more fights.

He'll get pizza faced when he fights Vitali anyway, may as well get it over with.

I don't agree with the whiners. Vitali-Valuev will be fun to watch. It will be a slugfest. Vitali should be the first man to stop Valuev, and show up Haye's lame effort versus Valuev.

He's like 40. He's fighting in March. May 29 would be perfect for him.
