I had Castillo winning the first fight, fair play to Mayweather though, he gave him a re-match and won that.

First fight was very close and truthfully could've gone either way, but Floyd did his thing and got a UD in the 2nd fight. But don't start comparing Castillo to Duran lol.

I would have to agree with you on this one. Duran was a very unique fighter and there is no comparison between him and Castillo. Duran would gave Mayweather fits.

Mayweather has fought with injuries many times but they only bothered him in the Castillo fight. Why? Because Castillo was about the best opponent he ever fought. He put on a lot of pressure, went to the body but he was also intelligent about the way he pressured Floyd, not like Hatton who just rushed in and mauled or Baldomir who was too slow to land a glove on Mayweather.

I don't think Mayweather fought such a great fight in the rematch either, Castillo simply didn't put up that great of an effort and didn't adjust any of his tactics. As good as he was, Castillo was no Duran or even a Pryor. Coming into the Mayweather fight he was thought of as the title holder who was a bit lucky to win against Stevie Johnston.
