"Yuri was more of a boxer, and Manny doesn't want to be in a boring fight (which is why we didnt make the fight). So, 154 might be stretching it a little bit. I think that 147 is as high as we're really going to go. But you know, we'll see what presents itself after this fight. If Mayweather doesn't come around, Manny might retire."

I have a problem with this quote because to me it implies that they really dont plan on fighting Mayweather. If they dont want to fight Yuri Foreman because he is a "boxer", then what makes anyone thinks they would be hyped up to fight Mayweather who is probably the most pure boxer in the history of the sport?

Does Freddie Roach know or think his fighter would have problems with a pure boxer?

Also, what is up with this retiring talk?

what Roach is telling, it would make the fight ugly.. Imagine a boring fight & Pacman against a no-namer, that would make Pac silly.. If Foreman somehow at least half as popular Floyd is, who knows, we might see Foreman-Pacman fight..
