Floyd is one of the all time greats. If you know boxing you can tell just by looking at the way he fights. Just like Roy Jones was an all time great. Just because these guys have never faced a fighter as good as them, doesn't mean they are not great. So what should we do, just discount them and throw them out the window? You people need to get passed that. Sometimes I think that is just used as an excuse from haters. I see Mayweather easily out boxing Duran like Ray Leonard did.

      Beating Duran?

      That ain't happening.

Manos De Piedra lands a couple shots on Floyd's chin and Floyd will be down for the count.

Don't pretend Floyd is some kind of ghost that never gets hit.

When he gets hit cleanly, it really stands out.

A prime Duran KO's Floyd in 10. Too much pressure, power, chin and timing.

The best Floyd could do is fight off his backfoot every second of every round and even then that just postpones the inevitable.

Duran was a beast at 147.
Just out of interest, how do you think he would have got on against Duran @135?

How dare you say that a slick, fast, defensive boxer could beat Duran. Thats Blasphemy on B-Scene.

This site kills me with this stance that no one from today can beat the fighters from yesteryear.

You don't even know you're own favorite fighter. Floyd fights NOTHING like Leonard. It's hard to take you seriously when you say ****** **** like that.

Absolutely. He quit against SRL because of the style he used. Isnt that what Floyd does??

Like you would care what the answer was. I've been reading these forums a long time and I've watched you post over the time you've been here and you were cool but lately you've been sounding like a real PBF nutswallower. You just put it on overdrive ever since the PAC/PBF fight were being discussed.

Stop the trolling threads, man. We already know you got PBF's balls in your fridge. Duran can't beat PBF????!!! That's rich.

How 'bout this, PBF wouldn't even make it to the weigh-ins. Duran would have him puking out of fear before the fight. That should be enough to throw him off his game. Duran will murder your bff. That's if he agrees to fight him at all.

The Duran I can remember was a gritty, powerful and tough as nails. He seemed to be always brawling but in no way was he strictly that. Too tough and too powerful IMO for Floyd at 147.

Jros has a good point, Floyd seemed better at the lower weights but then so did Duran.

On a lighter side, I found it funny to see the words God and Floyd in a one sentence thread title. Props to you Burner, you are getting there ...

                    Floyd beats Duran at 135.

I've never seen a more skilled and talented fighter than Floyd at 130-135.

He had slick defense and versatile offense.

Floyd was the whole package 130-135.

Even though Duran was one of the greatest 135lbers, Floyd was just way too smart to fall prey to Duran's fightplan and way too skilled with symbiotic offense and defense.

I was a ***** when Floyd was fighting from 130-135 tbh.
