      Jiujitsu as a martial art is completely different from jiujitsu as a sport.

      Just as muay thai as a martial art is completely different from muay thai as a sport.

      The real goal of jiu jitsu is not to land a submission hold but to neutralize an attacker's physical weapons like punches or kicks in order to punch them in the neck or gouge their eyes out.
