If you remember the 24-7 for Oscar-Mayweather, you will remember that Roach was trying to develop Oscar's right, because Roach feels that Floyds shoulder roll is open to a right down the pipe.

Do you guys think Mosley will be able to have success with the right?? I mean Oscar did land it a few times, and so did JMM.

What's your take? Is the shoulder roll a invite for a right?
If Shane has any chance to win against floyd at all it's going to be with his FEET. Not his hands.

Floyd loves to lull opponents to sleep. He'll get on his bike and let his opponent chase him. Then he'll stop to set and his opponent will stop right there in front of him...allowing floyd to get off a potshot or 2 first then hop back on his bike.

Shane cannot get drawn into that pattern. when floyd plants his feet shane MUST keep moving to create angles on floyd...and trap him in the corner...not the ropes.

From what i recall it seemed to be more of a loupy right hand that caught Mayweather on top of the head rather than a straight right hand.

Agreed, thats why i dont think Shane will win, he is not effective at cutting the ring down and Mayweather is going to use his legs.

i dont think Mosley will win either but he doesnt necessarily have to cut the ring down to create angles on Floyd.

The shoulder roll's biggest weakness is that the fighter must be stationary to use it. If floyd wants to get on his bike then fine, just dont ever let him get off his bike. If Mosley uses movement and pressure effectively then floyd will be running the whole fight and wont have an opportunity to throw back.

The danger comes when he lets floyd set his feet. like when he lays on the ropes.

My take is, Oscar/ Marquez rarely landed them. Jesus Chavez/ JLC had the most success in landing the right hand but that was a long time ago and Mayweather has gotten alot better on the inside since then. Mosley has a powerful overhand right but he doesn't have the legs to constantly stand close to Mayweather. I mean for God's sake, he could hardly cut the ring off against Cotto. While Cotto is pretty fast on his feet/ has good movement, Cotto ain't on Mayweather's level in that department.

hes not chinny he got knocked out in the 11 by margarito who has a killer punch and loaded gloves, and stopped in the 11 by the ref with pacquiao.

Thats true he did have problems cutting Cotto down, even Margarito managed to trap Cotto on the ropes FFS.

Shane fights with his head in the air and hands down a lot of the time, two things that are essentially when you come foward is, either a high guard or to have your head in perpetual motion so you have a chance at rolling with a punch when/if they unexpectedly comes at you.

Shane comes in straight and he will lose, that said that must be something Mosley & Richardson are focusing on most in this fight so, plus Hatton did not have that much trouble cutting the ring down although it been said that was not by design but more down to what Floyd wanted to do.

Even slow 144 Marquez caught Floyd a few times.

Shane's got this, because he's got a trainer thats a lot better than Freddie. ****m will show him the way.

Floyd RARELY gets caught flush with a right hand.....the roll is the PERFECT defense for a right hand......its the southpaw that can get in!!!.....but Shane will land some big stuff and Floyd will take one or two of them well......but he WILL eventually get KTFO down the stretch......Floyd's reluctance to throw combos will be his downfall in this one......Floyd will stink up the joint because thats all he can do to win this......he can't do **** but run laps around the ring for 36 minutes in this one......jab to the body is gonna get him over hand righted to the floor......what can Floyd do?!?......if he fights the same fight that he fought Oscar, he'll get KTFO.......if he fights the same fight that he fought Hatton (inside), he'll get KTFO.......what can the boy do?!?......throw a single shot and get outta dodge for 36 minutes!!!......I can smell that ****!!......but I see Shane catching him tho'......around 9 or 10!!
