if Shane wins, his hook wins for him
    not to the head either
Shane has no choice but to attack the body
he has to take away Floyd's movement
he might want a KO, but he can't force it with head shots
Shane can utilize a sweeping right cross from the side
straight rights will get him nothing

Thats Shane's only chance to me, is for him to catch Floyd with one of those quick rights straight down the pipe. It could happened because Floyd may still be a little rusty but thats it. The thing is that most of Shane's right hands are looping or over the top. Thats not going to hit Floyd. You have to come straight down the pipe to even have a chance and even then you wont land much. I mean the TS talked about Oscar & JMM but they landed like 2 right hands each the whole fight. Floyd is always so good that people have to overrate everything that lands against him. Now again, thats all it may take if Shane catches him the right way but he's pretty much mastered that D against righties and its damn near impossible for any right in history to hit a prime Floyd clean with more than a handful of shots in a fight

He hardly has been hit clean in his prime by a righty and he's only been stunned by Southpaws

Again, not true. Shane knows how to throw straight right hands and has been throughout his career. Does he throw wild hooks? Yea, but that's not all Mosley brings to the ring.

Floyd's been caught by smaller guys at Jr WW and Lightweight, but if people think Shane's punches won't have any effect on Floyd if he's consistently landing, then maybe they're just looking at the fight from one perspective and one perspective only.

            .........this.

            Exactly what I was thinking.

Shane needs Floyd to be extremely offensive and trade with him.

Even then Floyd's Chin may be to good to crack.

If Shane had a very good jab he could make the right hand work like that but since Shane's jab is ass I doubt he can. Shane will land some right hands the question would be if those are enough for him to win.

Forget the right to the head. He needs to dig into that body every time Floyd tries to shoulder roll. left uppercuts to the solar plexus, rights to the liver. Make him squeal like a pig.

                Easier said than done.

                  1) His jab is not "ass", he just doesn't use it often.

                  2) He will be looking to throw jabs in this fight, as Oscars sucess with it is well noted.

I think the right can be effective against the shoulder roll. He's gonna need a lot more than just that though.

I'm not sure what ****m is gonna cook up, but he knows what he is doing, and Mosley may be Floyd's most dangerous opponent to date.

I agree with that, Shane has a good jab when he uses it. If he can use it effectively in this fight, it will be a big asset.
