What was it Rocky Balboa said to Tommy Gunn? "Heart and soul baby, heart and soul!!"
I thought he said, "I didn't hear no bell."

Yeah, I generally agree about what you said in regards to heart. Brian Minto's performance against Arreola and Takayama's against Gonzalez were awe inspiring stuff IMO. Takayama is actually a speedy, quality boxer but was simply out gunned against the best strawweight in the world but never quit. I say the same about Cotto in the Pacquiao fight.

However, in Froch's, case his confidence is borderline arrogance, and he's annoying in that respect.

I just prefer smart boxing over the heart and soul type of boxing.
Of course I'd want my kid to have the talent of a Floyd or a Roy. But not everybody can be talented like that. NOBODY can take your heart or will unless you let them. That would be what I would try to teach them. To me (just my opinion) everything else is secondary.

Exactly. Like I said, this is only my opinion, but I feel like I can connect more with guys who have to do it the hard way. That isn't a knock on god given ability, just my preference.

I've only watched him fight 3 or 4 times and haven't really developed an opinion on him other than I like his "never say die" attitude.

I never liked Oscar Dela Hoya, but I admit he always fights the top opponents which I give props for.

I'd say Mayweather, JR! Unbelievable talent and skills! The quickest feet and upperbody movement! An elite counterpuncher!

But I don't like the way he brags his gift as a boxer and picks easy fights in the past 3 years. He could be the greatest boxer if only he chose to really fight the best!

I couldn't even understand why he would like Pacquiao to be tested olympic style, when there is a big possibility that he could defeat Pacquiao w/ or w/o PEDs(if the accusation is really true, in fact.)

              Joe Calzaghe.

Very good fighter, just too damn ugly of a style for my liking.

Mayweather is the stand out one for me. I can appreciate his skills, and hes brillant at what he does. Im just not a big fan as im not a fan of his style, and dont really enjoy watching his fights.
