I never called SSM old or out of his prime either, but I've always said I would love to finally see May vs SSM. Honestly though, Mosley is out of his prime, although not far removed from it and is still very much so an elite WW.

Seriously, why do you care and why do you think you know what Pacquiao fans think?

      TS is a poor psychic

Honestly think Mosley has a better chance against Pac than he does May. He doesn't have the legs to chase Mayweather and i can see PBF potshotting to a relatively easy UD.

Pac loves brawlers but Mosley is dangerous. Fast hands, hardest puncher he'd have faced and solid chin.

No matter who fights him, this is a 38 year old Mosley, not a prime, young Mosley. At this age he could turn into an old man literally overnight, especially against these two guys, people that would have given Mosley a run for his money in his best years.

          Answer me that question honestly...
No because all you ****tards would be the ones saying those things if the script was flipped.

But one thing to keep in mind is that Pacquiao would actually go in and come to fight Mosley....not try to outbox him.

Likewise would you be running down Clottey if he were a possible opponent for Floyd? Especially if it were only Floyd's second fight at that weight?

You are assuming too much TS. However, this is a match everybody is waiting for, so the fans still win IMHO. Sure Shane is not the same Shane 3 years ago, but hey, he deserves the big money, nonetheless.

I gurantee they would be saying Shane is a tougher fight for Pac than Floyd is. Just go through the threads yesterday. How can you say someone is ducking a fighter because he is scared of them, but when the fight is signed all of a sudden you switch up and say "Ohhhh he's not a challenge anyway he's old" That makes no damn sense.

I still think Floyd took the fight only cause there was no where else for him to go... after the Pac fight didnt happen he was either going to fight some scrub or go back into retirement. Well, at least he signed the deal... it took him long enough. Should be a good fight, either PBF decision or Sugar Shane by TKO.

Shane Mosley is a shop-worn, punched ticket and over the hill fighter - Pretty Boy

Based on Floyd Mayweather Jnr' statement,

"What people don't know about the sport of boxing. In a fighter's career, a fighter starts off good and he's good until the end of his career or a fighter starts off good and then goes downhill towards the end of his career. A fighter doesn't start off like Manny Pacqauio, just ordinary, and then once he gets over the age of 25 he becomes extraordinary fighter. It just doesn't work like that in this sport of boxing",

considering that Shane Mosley is 38 years old, it implies that Shane Mosley is a over-the-hill, shop-worn, punched ticket fighter.

Therefore, based on what he said, it can be said that he opted out of the Pacquiao fight because he regards Pacquiao to be "an extraordinary fighter", and instead chose to fight Shane Mosley, a fighter "going downhill at the end of his career".

So, why give Mayweather credit in facing Mosley when he himself discredited his opponent? Based on Mayweather's pronouncements, I beg the question, what glory is there if he beat Mosley?

To me, it's either Mayweather suffers from delusions of grandeur, or discredits Mosley to lay the groundwork to boxing's most expensive staged fight. Was he merely reading from a script?

Is Mayweather-Mosley fight going to be the biggest charade in boxing history? We'll only know when the first bell rings!
