But the fact is floyd is fighting an older man, who doesnt have the headmovement and defense like he use to.

He didn't fight Cotto when he was knocking everyone out

    Same goes for Margarito
1st off there is footage of floyd callin shane out when he was fighting at 135.
u said floyd is gettin credit for beating either old or washed up fighters so who do you mean? shane? thats 1 person and it just so happends that the majority of people actually wanna see that fight.
when was cotto knockin everyone out? at jr ww? if thats what your talkin about bob arum refused that fight.
margarito aint nobody and beside the fact that he aint nobody he also aint ****,the majority of people didn't know margarito untill he loss to williams

mosley is right though, mayweather wouldn't fight the guys that beat him, hell mayweather wouldn't fight most of the guys that mosley beat.
who's the best fighter shane beat?oscar? didn't floyd fight oscar?

That's an internet rumour. There's no real evidence that he did.

Anyway Shanes comments are irrelevant. Floyd had one fight at 154 he fought it as a welter......he is not a 154 pounder.
Out of Cotto, Forrest, and Wright, I think Winky would have the best chance of beating Mayweather. He's too big and his style would be difficult for Mayweather. Shane really should have never fought Winky himself. I give him a lot of credit for making that fight because neither Delahoya or Margarito wanted any parts of Wright. As far as Cotto is concerened, I don't see him ever beating Mayweather under any circumstances. Forrest was never really relavent in Mayweather's career but even if he was I can't see him winning that fight.

Prime Forrest vs. Mayweather would be a pick 'em fight, IMO. His height and reach, coupled with his excellent skills and good power, would have made him a real handful for any Welterweight, and Floyd is a relatively small Welterweight. I know he lost to Mayorga but styles make fights.

The whole post-Pacquiao scramble was just a bunch of sensationalised off-the-cuff comments, time biding tactics and promotional jabs. I believe there was a brief period before Berto's withdrawal where Mayweathe really was left high and dry without a viable opponent but once one presented itself he jumped on the opportunity and the rest is history.

Again, I see no substantial basis for criticism.

              Here you go.
Jake Donovan backs up what I said; and he goes even further than I did and says that Schaeffer had to pressure Floyd into taking the fight. Jake is no hater, and as the Managing Editor of boxingscene, and an award-winning member of the Boxing Writers Association of America, he's a highly respected journalist with fantastic contacts. I'd trust his word over that of an anonymous internet poster every time.

Be quiet you and your theories like most of floyds fans whos actually ****** enough to believe it. Have you seen Mosley calling out floyd after JMM fight. Might point exactly you have no proof so just stfu.

Just saying he didnt fight fighters when they were on top and its the truth.

Shanes too old. Cotto is getting beat up and Margarito getting laid off for a while.

Floyd didn't fight these guys at their best and that's the truth

is shot? What kind of Boxing fans would dim the shine of a very
good and long awaited match up like this one? I think Shane
would still kick Pacquiao's ass even at this age and stage in his
career. If Shane was truly shot then Pac would have fought
him because Roach would see an easy win and Mosley made
the most sense status wise but guess what? The fight NEVER
happened so we know how good Shane still is. After Shane
dominated Antonio Margarito, Manny Pacquiao went on record
and said that he is not interested in fighting Shane? The best
at 147 he didn't want no part of? I'm not saying this to rag
on Pac but come on guys! Pacquiao walked away from a Mosley
and Floyd fight and their fighting each other TWO OF THE BEST
You sound kind of inconsistent with your theory. I understand that there are some absolute detractors no matter what the situation is, and I agree with that. But when Floyd and Pac were in negotiation with each other I heard you say that you thought that Pac was the tougher fight than Shane. That's what I mean by sounding inconsistent. Personally myself, I think Mosley poses the bigger risk.
