his concern was not that he can't beat yuri.

his concern was that with the way yuri fights and with his height and size advantages , the fight might be boring.

he didn't say he was scared of foreman and that he thought yuri would beat him because of his height.

he was concerned it might be boring. he picked clottey because he thought it'd be a more exciting fight.

It's surely harder to land with power on a taller fighter. It would already be a risk for Manny to step up without having to deal with the height issue too. If there was a 5'8 champ at 154 I'm sure Roach would be interested.
