Cause fighting JMM at 140 is absolutely nothing like fighting him at 130 or 135. JMM is not a p4p fighter at 140 and above, he is too small and doesn't have the speed to make up for it. Khan has a huge height advantage and this could be a relatively easy win for him.

But at the same time, moving 2 weight classes to fight perhaps the greatest technical boxer of this era is nothing like fighting a green, no chin fighter like Khan. Unlike Floyd, Amir was at LW just a couple of fights ago, as was Marquez. Just don't see how people are writing off the ex #2 fighter P4P in the world for losing to a natural welter way above his weight class. I do agree with you though that Marquez may not be able to handle the moves up in weight like Pacquiao did, but I still believe that maybe 140 could be the last weight where he can still fight like he always has.

Seriously the Barrera fight was a real anticlimax after the cut and that fight should never be mentioned as the blue print to beat Marquez.
