  • Comments Thread For: Vanes Martirosyan vs Carlos Quintana Being Discussed

BoxingScene.com has heard that a possible fight between junior welterweights Vanes Martirosyan (27-0, 17KOs) and Carlos Quintana (27-2, 21KOs) is being discussed. Vanes was really tested tough in his last fight against Kassim Ouma. At times the fight was like a life and death battle. It was Ouma's best performance in years. It was hard to tell if Ouma simply turned back the clock or maybe Vanes was not prepared for a fighter on this level. [Click Here To Read More]

I don't see Arum putting Vanes in with Quintana but if for some crazy chance they did Quintana would **** him up.

Quintana would win by a wide unanimous decision. Not hating on Vanes I have nothing against him but I think he showed in his last fight that he still has quite a lot of holes in his game and isn't ready for a top contender just yet.

Would be too early in my opinion but it would be a exciting(even if it's one sided) fight.

I think Vanes really got exposed by a past prime Ouma who I thought won their fight......the Q man would most likely win a pretty convincing UD.

Vanes is still a long way away from being ready for someone like Quintana.
