That is the weakest excuse of all time. You don't want to fight the guy because you don't want him to get rich off you? Who cares what the other guy makes! Mayweather is in line to get a giant payday and the lion's share of the purse.

Mayweather might like to think he's the new Oscar but he isn't the new Oscar. De La Hoya could fight a 14 year old girl and it'd draw 1 million PPVs. People are interested in Mayweather because they want to see him get beaten, so the guy he's fighting as to be a credible opponent or be able to be built up into a credible opponent for the fight to get Oscar-type numbers.

I read an interview where it said mosley would make the most in his career. Mayweather feels he should only get what Delahoya gave him. Floyd has everything to lose and nothing to gain. This fight won't happen unless they change the split. Floyd will sit out the year and wait for Pacquiao. Mark my words. Floyd is the cash cow now, and even HBO and Delahoya, Shaefer said so. He won't settle for nothing less than a flat fee.
this fight better happen...or ill never respect floyd...im not a fan or like him at all but i will actually respect him abit if he does man up and fight mosely..

No agenda just my opinion. Listening to Floyd speak about mosley on different interviews , I get the feeling he don't like the guy. I remember Team Mayweather saying Floyd would never fight Shane because Shane didn't give Mayweather a shot when Mosley was on top. Maybe this is payback. It does hurt the sport but I don't think alot of fighters give a **** what we as fans want or whats best for boxing.

Not sure about the purse, but if Shane has already accepted everything, then i don't see how the pruse could be an issue.

HBO ,Oscar, and shaefer seem to think so.They all said it . His numbers don't lie. If we pay beacause of hate or because of love, bottom line is we still pay.

getdafuuckouttahere. as a "boxingfan", ur worrying more about the business aspect of this fight rather than getting a great match, fuuckin poser.

If he fights shane, win or lose, he will get the respect hes been asking for. Also a chance to be a WW title holder.

news flat, mosley can give a fuuck less about money as long as he can choke that chicken.

I'm not Mayweather so direct this **** towards him if you ever see him. I wish the fight happens. This is just my opinion on why the fight is taking so long to become final thats all. Calm down.

He's been havin 2nd thoughts. He's stalling because he's trying to come up with a way out. He will sign, but don't be surprised if another deal breaking issue comes up before 5/1. This is not gonna go smoothly at all.

do you think cotto or pacman had more to lose or more to gain when they fought clottey? did shane have more to lose or more to gain from fighting fighters like forrest or winky wright?

the difference is that great fighters make great fights. pbf's buisness like approach to fights and his cherry picking is costing the sport

I wish Floyd would sit out and wait for Pac. Once Pac is done with Clottey he will sign to Mosley and than retire leaving Floyd in the dust.
