If that's the case then Mayweather is always carrying his fights.....and it's not just the opponent but also an elephant!

Well Floyd finished it exactly as he intended you could watch him setting that up basically the whole fight. I guess if he really pressed the issue he could have done it sooner but he was playing a different game then that.

It certainly wasn't tough though because he ended the fight as he intended never really looking in danger, can't call that a tough fight.

He could have ended it in the 8th. I felt bad for Hatton in that round. Outside of that I really dont think he had to carry him.

No. Mayweather's brittle hands don't have the the power to put Hatton out early. What got Hatton Ko'd was Floyd breaking him down and Ricky coming in like sitting duck asking to be hit.

The poll options are ****. Pro boxers dont carry other fighters unless they are fighting some last minute replacement, not a 45-0 two weight world champion who wants to cave your head in.

If he pressed the issue,he ran the risk of getting caught with something himself, something Floyd has never done in his career,so why start after nearly 40 fights against a dangerous opponent?

The thread question is either bait to piss off Hatton or Pac fans,or just ignorant.

Carried Hatton?????? You gotta be joking. Pretty Boi is an egomainac with delusions of granduer. And he respects no one, which is why no one respects him.

Hell no.. When the last time Floyd Ko'd some1 early?? Floyds not a power puncher and is always safety 1st. The question should be " Could he have KO'ed hatton early.? Probably not cause as I said floyd is NOT a power puncher.

Agreed, Mayweather was working on landing that check hook on the way in for most of the fight but Hatton would jump in too quick and it wouldn't land. Once Hatton slowed down it landed picture perfect. Hatton did land a good amount od solid shots though.

Styles make fights though, he didn't take Hatton out in 2 rounds like Pacquiao but that's not his style.
