do you think mayweather carried hatton to the 10th out of respect for him/to put a show on for the fans? or do you think he was actually having a tough time figuring out hattons style and it legitimately took him 10 rounds to beat him?

i thought watching it live on TV that Floyd was carrying Hatton so as to give his travelling fans value for money, IMO Floyd played all through the build-up and knew he had nothing to beat in Ricky Hatton who was always a KO waiting to happen

neva eva homey.
hes clever, very unique style that wont allowed him to take a risk.
no risk. just how floyd likes it!
if floyd went wild in fights he would have lost the most fights, I guess.

He probably could have gotten Hatton out of there quicker if he had just gone ape **** and traded with him. He definitely had the speed and power to trade with Hatton but that's not how Floyd fights. He breaks people down and picks them apart. He's not like Mosley who will just throw down with a guy.

He may have carried him a little, but I don't think May could have KO'ed Hatton without the turnbuckle's help.

he carried him big time...i seriously don't think mayweather wanted to ko him that early...it seemed like he wanted to ride it out...but hatton pissed him off with the grabbing and pushing so he just check hooked his ass and let him fly into the ropes...after that...mayweather wanted to go home and put him to sleep...
