I have been trying so hard to forget that diabolical ****-fest of a "fight"
Why is everyone talking about Froch vs Dirrel?

I couldn't agree more, green k coming your way. Now I love boxing, I love to see a fighter outbox another fighter, but I've never seen a true runner until I saw Direll run for that whole ****ing fight.
& it's not a US vs. UK thing for me. I was born in the US, that was just a horrible excuse of a championship fight.
edit; you must spread reputation around before giving to Earl-Hickey again, sorry.Comment

That fight was not even close, infact the only thing close about it was how narrowly Dirrell won the rounds he won,not to say you could make an argument that because the round was won so narrowly won that Froch could of won it to, how could he when he was not landing hardly anything?
People like to make out it was close because they want to believe that Froch won. Dirrell did not dominate the rounds he won big but the bottom line is not matter how narrowly a round is won there is generally always a winner and a loser to the round,Dirrell accumulated more rounds to win a CLEAR decision.
Even the rounds i gave to Froch were sympathy rounds because he was losing so clearly. The point deduction that should not of stood made it slightly closer than it should of been, but no way was it even a close fight in my book.
You would have to be blind to score that fight for Froch, Dirrell clearly put his hands on Froch more times than Froch did to Dirrell and thats all that matters. I mean lets say you think Froch actually did better than he actually did, he still did no better than a draw.Last edited by Dynamite Kid; 02-01-2010, 08:14 PM.Comment

Dirrell schooled Froch so hard, it was embarrasing, I'm still appalled how they dared rob Dirrell like that, then again we all saw this coming.Comment
