I dont understand how people can say that Pacquiao is a bigger sell than Mayweather when Mayweather is the undisputed PPV king. People who say that he needs his opponents appeal are kidding themselves because Mayweather still did better on he PPV sales against similar opponents.

You are right about the bargaining power. however if Floyd loses it will only hurt his bargaining power against Pac....he will still be on the A-side against any other opponent.
And Floyd will miss the opportunity to fight Pac if he looses to Shane, thus, Pac vs Shane.
Actually Pac wouldn't take a test that both Floyd and Shane agreed to and thats why a fight has been made. All Pac had to do was come to there level but he didn't, now he's the odd man out, and somehow Floyd's at fault?
