Dont forget that in Berto's last fight he was gasing out of energy in the later rounds... when have u seen Shane do that, even at the age he is now? Shane goes hard all 12 rounds so I dont see Berto outboxing him in later rounds...

There are two things that Shane does. Shane throws the right hand very well and Shane has a jumping hook. Honestly, that's Shane's only two weapons. If you watch Shane, he really doesn't do anything else,"

Ive seen Berto hurt by fighters that couldnt hold a candle to SSM, Shane has more power, faster hands, and a more solid chin than several fighters that Berto has struggled with. Nothing against Berto, but I think Shane would have taken him out and was looking forward to the fight, maybe in the next year they can lock horns.

What Berto trainer said is right. I've been watching shane for a while and I always felt as a boxer he was limited. Shane's 2 weapons that right hand and lunging left hook can be taken away by distance and spacing. The problem with Shane is he don't have a good jab and he loops his punches. Even after he got with ****m (the so called mad scientist) Richardson he is still doing the same. Just look at the Margarito fight. Shane didn't look good because of ****m Richardson, he looked good because of Margarito. Shane pawed with his jab in that fight then loaded up on power punches. Margarito problem was he doesn't move or slip punches. All u have to do is stop drinking this Kool Aid they are serving u about these fighters and watch tape.

I think the chick in your avatar is smoking....... sorry back to the thread. I always thought Shane didn't maximized his potential, I always felt he could have become so much better than he did if he would have focused on boxing more instead of trying to brawl so much. I think Floyd will come away with his biggest win after he picks Mosley apart. Contrary to the popular belief around here, Floyd has wanted this fight for a long time, I think he already knows how he is going to beat him.

What do you expect from Berto's trainer. I'd have been suprised if he had said "Mosley would have knocked Berto the **** out".

...Mosley was winning with what he had so why change what works?...all fighters need improvement but fighters like Mosley and Pacman have a natural talent that get's them through the tough fights when other fighters wouldn't...the only problem I see with Mosley was he moved up in weight to pursue big $$$$$ instead of cementing a legacy at his best weight...

I predicted a Berto UD in a great fight, it's a shame it never took place but I understand Berto's withdrawl.
