Tony Morgan (Bertos Trainer):Berto would "easily" outbox & outwork Shane, Maybe even

"I was really hyped and ready for this fight with Shane. I figured Shane would come out and try to jump on Berto right out of the gate and once he seen that he couldn't bully Berto, in the middle rounds, I felt Berto would start applying pressure and in the later rounds, I felt that Berto would easily outscore and outwork Shane or maybe even stop him. There are two things that Shane does. Shane throws the right hand very well and Shane has a jumping hook. Honestly, that's Shane's only two weapons. If you watch Shane, he really doesn't do anything else,"

I actually think that Berto would have put forth his best performance against Shane. Shane has come out and said that he was looking through Berto, but man Berto would have been a VERY LIVE dog in this fight.

If the trainer really believed that he would have been against dropping out of the fight, when they could have postponned it.

I don't think he dropped out because he wasnt prepared physically.

Every trainer will tell their fighter is the best but I just can't see how Berto would easily outbox Shane. Berto isn't exactly a slick boxer and has many holes that a veteran like Shane could expose.
